Hobby Room Colors

Alright friends. I'm changing up this beautiful, snowy Monday morning a little bit because I need your help. Motivational Monday will return next week. I've been slowly gathering things to beautify my hobby room. If you read my 2014 home goals post you know that room needs a lot of help.

So now I need your help! I know I want to do teal and gray since I already have curtains, a chair, and a sewing table that match but now I need just one more color. I've been thinking all along that I would do yellow but I'm thinking that's just too cliche. That's the "in" color scheme right now so I was thinking of going a little bold and doing teal, aqua, and radiant orchid - the 2014 pantone color of the year.

So what do you think? I need someone else's opinion because mr g isn't sold on the idea. Do these colors go together?
