Isn't that such a great reminder? Since the beginning of December, I started thinking about what I wanted my word for 2014 to be. Something that would help motivate me. Something that would direct my goals and focus for the year.
And I've finally decided...CONTENT.
I have really been struggling lately on comparing myself to others and concerned that I need to change who I am in order to be a better, more-liked person. I've been fighting thoughts about needing to get pregnant in order to have more friends. I worry that I need to be somebody else in order to feel better about who I am.
But after much serious thought, I'm happy with who I am and where I'm at in life. It may be very different than many other people my age around me but I need to stop worrying about what others think and just be content. I love my life. I love my home. I love where my life is headed.
So that's my goal for this year. I made up this 8x10 and am going to put it in my hobby room as a reminder every day.
